       The Committee on Budget Subcommittee on Health and Human
       Services Appropriations (Sobel) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 3660 - 3668
    4  and insert:
    5         (f) Prompt payment.—All qualified plans must comply with
    6  ss. 641.315, 641.3155, and 641.513.
    7         1. Qualified plans shall pay nursing homes by the 10th day
    8  of the month for enrollees who are residing in the nursing home
    9  on the 1st day of the month. Payment for the month in which an
   10  enrollee initiates residency in a nursing home shall be in
   11  accordance with s. 641.3155.
   12         2. Qualified plans shall pay for nonemergency covered
   13  services rendered by a contracted provider within 30 days after
   14  receipt of a complete and correct claim.
   15         3. On an annual basis, qualified plans shall submit a
   16  report certifying compliance with the prompt payment
   17  requirements for the plan year.
