DELETE the proviso immediately following Specific Appropriation 193:
From the funds in Specific Appropriation 193, the agency shall issue
an invitation to negotiate with a pharmacy or pharmacies to provide mail
order delivery services at no cost to the patients who elect to receive
their drugs in this manner for patients with chronic disease states
including but not limited to congestive heart failure, diabetes,
HIV/AIDS, patients suffering from end stage renal disease or cancer in
order to assist Medicaid patients in securing prescriptions and to
reduce program costs. The agency shall select patients appropriate for
this mail order project and shall limit the number of participants to
20,000 patients statewide.
Insert proviso immediately following Specific Appropriation 193:
From the funds in Specific Appropriation 193, the agency shall issue

including but not limited to congestive heart failure, diabetes,
HIV/AIDS, patients suffering from end stage renal disease or cancer in
order to assist Medicaid patients in securing prescriptions and to
reduce program costs. The agency shall select patients appropriate for
this mail order project and shall limit the number of participants to
20,000 patients statewide. The Agency for Health Care Administration
shall authorize any community pharmacy with a Medicaid provider number
the opportunity to offer a 90 day supply of prescription drugs to
patients with the same chronic medical conditions specified in this
proviso under the condition that the community pharmacy agrees to accept
a dispensing fee which is 1.5 times the amount of the dispensing fee
paid for a 30 day prescription.
