       Senator Hays moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 3770 and 3771
    4  insert:
    5         Section 44. Section 290.00728, Florida Statutes, is created
    6  to read:
    7         290.00728 Enterprise zone designation for Lake County.—Lake
    8  County may apply to the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic
    9  Development for designation of one enterprise zone, which zone
   10  shall encompass an area of up to 10 square miles within Lake
   11  County. The application must be submitted by December 31, 2011,
   12  and must comply with the requirements of s. 290.0055.
   13  Notwithstanding s. 290.0065 limiting the total number of
   14  enterprise zones designated and the number of enterprise zones
   15  within a population category, the Office of Tourism, Trade, and
   16  Economic Development may designate one enterprise zone under
   17  this section. The Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic
   18  Development shall establish the initial effective date of the
   19  enterprise zone designated under this section.

   24  and insert:
   25         Jobs Florida; creating s. 290.00728, F.S.; authorizing

   28         enterprise zone; providing application requirements;
   29         authorizing the office to designate an enterprise zone
   30         in Lake County; providing responsibilities of the
   31         office; amending s. 409.942, F.S.; deleting
