Provide comprehensive services to the state’s birth to 6 five population which shall ensure the preservation of parental 7 choice by permitting parents to choose from a variety of child 8 care categories, including: Center-based child care; Group home 9 child care; Family child care; and In-home child care. Under 10 each of the above categories, care and curriculum by a sectarian 11 provider may not be limited or excluded. 12 13 Delete lines 20172 - 20177 14 and insert: 15 actions, including the use of a curriculum approved by the 16 department under paragraph (2)(c) or a staff development plan to 17 strengthen instruction in language development and phonological 18 awareness approved by the department. 19 3. A private prekindergarten provider or public school that 20 is placed on probation must continue the corrective actions 21 required under subparagraph 2., including the use of a 22 curriculum or a staff development plan to strengthen instruction 23 in language development and phonological awareness approved by 24 the department, until the provider or 25 26 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 27 And the title is amended as follows: 28 Delete line 373 29 and insert: 30 provisions; amending s. 411.01(4), F.S., to ensure the 31 Department of Education provides preservation of parental 32 choice; amending s. 1002.67, F.S., to provide for private 33 prekindergarten providers or pubic school that are on probation 34 to use a staff development plan to strengthen instruction in 35 language development and phonological awareness approved by the 36 department; transferring,
