       Senators Joyner and Wise moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 20558 - 20572
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 366. Subsections (2) and (3) of section 1003.575,
    6  Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
    7         1003.575 Assistive technology devices; findings;
    8  interagency agreements.—Accessibility, utilization, and
    9  coordination of appropriate assistive technology devices and
   10  services are essential as a young person with disabilities moves
   11  from early intervention to preschool, from preschool to school,
   12  from one school to another, and from school to employment or
   13  independent living. To ensure that an assistive technology
   14  device issued to a young person as part of his or her
   15  individualized family support plan, individual support plan, or
   16  an individual education plan remains with the individual through
   17  such transitions, the following agencies shall enter into
   18  interagency agreements, as appropriate, to ensure the
   19  transaction of assistive technology devices:
   20         (2) The Division of Blind Services of Jobs Florida, the
   21  Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services, and the
   22  Division of Vocational Rehabilitation of Jobs Florida the
   23  Department of Education.
