    1                    Senate Concurrent Resolution                   
    2         A concurrent resolution extending the 2011 Regular
    3         Session of the Florida Legislature under the authority
    4         of Section 3(d), Article III of the State
    5         Constitution.

    7         WHEREAS, the 60 days of the 2011 Regular Session of the
    8  Florida Legislature will expire on Friday May 6, 2011, and the
    9  necessary tasks of the session have not been completed, NOW,
   10  THEREFORE,

   12  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida, the House
   13  of Representatives Concurring:
   14  
   15         That the 2011 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature is
   16  extended until 6 p.m., Saturday, May 7, under the authority of
   17  Section 3(d), Article III of the State Constitution.
   18         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regular session so extended
   19  shall consider only the following matters:
   20         (1) Senate Bill 2000, the General Appropriations bill, or
   21  any Senate and House Conference Committee Report thereon.
   22         (2) Senate Bill 2002, the Appropriations Implementing bill,
   23  or any Senate and House Conference Committee Report thereon.
   24         (3) Any bill, or any Senate and House Conference Committee
   25  Report thereon, under consideration before Thursday, May 5,
   26  2011, by a Conference Committee appointed by each house.
   27         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other measures in both
   28  houses are indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from
   29  consideration of the respective house as of 12 a.m., Saturday,
   30  May 7, 2011.
   31         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon recess or adjournment
   32  Saturday, May 7, 2011, either house may reconvene upon the call
   33  of its presiding officer.
