5 insert:
6 Section 10. Section 376.30715, Florida Statutes, is amended
7 to read:
8 376.30715 Innocent victim petroleum storage system
9 restoration.—A contaminated site acquired by the current owner
10 prior to July 1, 1990, which has ceased operating as a petroleum
11 storage or retail business prior to January 1, 1985, is eligible
12 for financial assistance pursuant to s. 376.305(6),
13 notwithstanding s. 376.305(6)(a). For purposes of this section,
14 the term “acquired” means the acquisition of title to the
15 property; however, a subsequent transfer of the property to a
16 spouse or child of the owner, a surviving spouse or child of the
17 owner in trust or free of trust, or a revocable trust created
18 for the benefit of the settlor, or a corporate entity created by
19 the owner to hold title to the site does not disqualify the site
20 from financial assistance pursuant to s. 376.305(6) and
21 applicants previously denied coverage may reapply. Eligible
22 sites shall be ranked in accordance with s. 376.3071(5).

33 assistance program; authorizing certain applicants to
34 reapply for financial assistance; amending s. 403.061,
35 F.S.;
