       Senator Fasano moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (844961) (with ballot
    2  amendment)

    4         Between lines 3518 and 3519
    5  insert:
    6         Section 32. Subsection (7) is added to section 626.852,
    7  Florida Statutes, to read:
    8         626.852 Scope of this part.—
    9         (7) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a person
   10  who provides claims adjusting services solely to institutions
   11  that service or guarantee mortgages with regard to policies
   12  covering the mortgaged properties is exempt from licensure as an
   13  adjuster. This exemption does not apply to any person who
   14  provides insurance, property repair, or preservation services or
   15  to any affiliate of such person.
