| 3 | sponsorship; repealing s. 286.25, F.S., which requires a |
| 4 | nongovernmental organization that sponsors a program |
| 5 | financed partially by state funds or funds obtained from a |
| 6 | state agency to provide disclosure of such sponsorship in |
| 7 | a specified manner; amending s. 409.1671, F.S.; revising |
| 8 | provisions which require lead community-based providers of |
| 9 | foster care and related services to include notice of |
| 10 | state sponsorship in contracts and other written documents |
| 11 | to conform to the repeal of s. 286.25, F.S.; providing an |
| 12 | effective date. |

| 14 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 15 |
|
| 16 | Section 1. Section 286.25, Florida Statutes, is repealed. |
| 17 | Section 2. Subsection (16) of section 409.1671, Florida |
| 18 | Statutes, is amended to read: |
| 19 | 409.1671 Foster care and related services; outsourcing.- |
| 20 | (16) A lead community-based provider and its |
| 21 | subcontractors must include are exempt from including in written |
| 22 | contracts and other written documents the statement "sponsored |
| 23 | by the State of Florida" or the logo of the Department of |
| 24 | Children and Family Services if , otherwise required in s. |
| 25 | 286.25, unless the lead community-based provider or its |
| 26 | subcontractors receive more than 35 percent of their total |
| 27 | funding from the state. |
| 28 | Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011. |
