       The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Ring) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Delete lines 171 - 174
    4  and insert:
    5  only once in any 12-month period.

    8         And the directory clause is amended as follows:
    9         Delete lines 100 - 101
   10  and insert:
   11         Section 2. Effective July 1, 2011, and applicable only to
   12  exemptions from ad valorem taxation granted pursuant to
   13  referenda held on or after July 1, 2011, under the provisions of
   14  subsection (1) of section 196.1995, Florida Statutes, section
   15  196.1995, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

   19         And the title is amended as follows:
   20         Delete lines 5 - 13
   21  and insert:

   25         to call and hold a referendum to determine whether to
   26         grant economic development ad valorem exemptions;
   27         revising the language of ballot questions relating to
   28         the authority to grant economic development tax
   29         exemptions; specifying additional information
