       The Committee on Community Affairs (Ring) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1415 and 1416
    4  insert:
    5         Section 14. Subsection (4) of section 720.301, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         720.301 Definitions.—As used in this chapter, the term:
    8         (4) “Declaration of covenants,” or “declaration,” means a
    9  recorded written instrument or instruments in the nature of
   10  covenants running with the land which subject subjects the land
   11  comprising the community to the jurisdiction and control of an
   12  association or associations in which the owners of the parcels,
   13  or their association representatives, must be members.

   16         And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete line 65
   18  and insert:
   19         noticed board meeting; amending s. 720.301, F.S.;
   20         revising the definition of the term “declaration of
   21         covenants”; amending s. 720.303, F.S.;
