Floor: WD/2R . 05/04/2011 10:13 AM . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Senator Lynn moved the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 22 - 27 4 and insert: 5 414.145 Drug-screening program.— 6 (1) The Department of Children and Family Services shall 7 require a drug test consistent with s. 112.0455 to screen each 8 individual who applies for temporary assistance for needy 9 families (TANF). The cost of drug testing shall be the 10 responsibility of the individual. However, the cost of the drug 11 testing may not exceed $10 per person tested. The laboratory 12 testing for drugs shall notify the department of the test 13 results no later than 10 days after the laboratory receives the 14 materials to be tested.
