       Senator Lynn moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 116 and 117
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Eligibility for TANF, food stamps, and other
    6  food nutrition programs; drug-related felonies.—A person who is
    7  otherwise eligible to receive temporary assistance for needy
    8  families (TANF), food stamps, or other food and nutrition
    9  assistance is ineligible to receive such assistance if the
   10  person has pled guilty or nolo contendere to, or has been found
   11  guilty under federal or state law of, any offense that is
   12  classified as a felony by federal or state law and that is
   13  related to the possession, use, or distribution of a controlled
   14  substance, as defined in s. 102(6) of the Controlled Substances
   15  Act, 21 U.S.C. s. 802(6) or s. 893.02, Florida Statutes,
   16  notwithstanding a suspension of sentence or a withholding of
   17  adjudication.
