       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Dean) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 121 - 125
    4  and insert:
    5         4. Only the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction over
    6  the case may make a request to the clearinghouse for the
    7  activation of a state Silver Alert involving a missing adult if
    8  circumstances regarding the disappearance have met the criteria
    9  for activation of the Silver Alert Plan.

   14  and insert:
