       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Ring) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 295 and 296
    4  insert:
    5         (n) The department shall contract with the Department of
    6  Revenue, through an interagency agreement, to perform the tax
    7  collection and financial audit services for the taxes required
    8  to be collected by entities licensed or regulated by chapter
    9  550, chapter 551, or chapter 849. The interagency agreement
   10  shall also allow the Department of Revenue to assist in any
   11  financial investigations of licensees or applications for
   12  licenses by the Department of Gaming Control or law enforcement
   13  agencies.

   16         And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete line 26
   18  and insert:
   19         department to employ law enforcement officers;
   20         directing the department to contract with the
   21         Department of Revenue for tax collection and financial
   22         audit services; authorizing the Department of Revenue
   23         to assist in financial investigations of licensees and
   24         applicants for licenses;
