6 | 322.12 and 322.1615 through a third-party provider. The |
7 | department shall contract with providers of approved traffic law |
8 | and substance abuse education courses to serve as third-party |
9 | administrators to conduct, on behalf of the department, |
10 | knowledge tests under this subsection. |
11 | (a) The online testing program shall use personal |
12 | questions before the examination, which the applicant is |
13 | required to answer during the examination, to strengthen test |
14 | security and deter fraud and require, prior to administering the |
15 | examination, the applicant's parent, guardian, or other |
16 | responsible adult who meets the requirements of s. 322.09 to |
17 | provide the third-party administrator with his or her driver's |
18 | license number and certify online that the parent, guardian, or |
19 | responsible adult will monitor the applicant during the |
20 | examination. |
21 | (b) The department shall accept written certification by |
22 | the applicant's parent, guardian, or other responsible adult who |
23 | meets the requirements of s. 322.09 that he or she monitored the |
24 | applicant when the applicant was taking the online knowledge |
25 | test. The department may not impose any additional requirements |
26 | on the applicant, parent, guardian, or other responsible adult |
27 | with respect to the online knowledge test. The certification |
28 | shall be similar to the certification required by s. 322.05(3). |
