3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove lines 60-65 and insert:
5have the ability to take the written examination required by ss.
6322.12 and 322.1615 through a third-party provider. The
7department shall contract with providers of approved traffic law
8and substance abuse education courses to serve as third-party
9administrators to conduct, on behalf of the department,
10knowledge tests under this subsection.
11     (a)  The online testing program shall use personal
12questions before the examination, which the applicant is
13required to answer during the examination, to strengthen test
14security and deter fraud and require, prior to administering the
15examination, the applicant's parent, guardian, or other
16responsible adult who meets the requirements of s. 322.09 to
17provide the third-party administrator with his or her driver's
18license number and certify online that the parent, guardian, or
19responsible adult will monitor the applicant during the
21     (b)  The department shall accept written certification by
22the applicant's parent, guardian, or other responsible adult who
23meets the requirements of s. 322.09 that he or she monitored the
24applicant when the applicant was taking the online knowledge
25test. The department may not impose any additional requirements
26on the applicant, parent, guardian, or other responsible adult
27with respect to the online knowledge test. The certification
28shall be similar to the certification required by s. 322.05(3).
