       Senator Fasano moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (486424) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 89 - 92
    4  and insert:
    5         (2) REGISTRATION.—Effective January 1, 2012, a physician
    6  licensed under chapter 458, chapter 459, chapter 461, or chapter
    7  466 who prescribes more than a 30-day supply of any controlled
    8  substance, as defined in s. 893.03, over a 6-month period to any
    9  one patient for the treatment of chronic nonmalignant pain,
   10  must:

   13         Delete line 230
   14  and insert:
   15  procedures of the type routinely billed using surgical codes.
   16  This subsection does not apply to any physician licensed under
   17  chapter 458 or chapter 459 who writes fewer than 50
   18  prescriptions for a controlled substance for all of his or her
   19  patients combined in any one calendar year.
