       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Dean) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 32 - 35
    4  and insert:
    5  
    6         (5) If a violation of subsection (2) causes or contributes
    7  to causing serious bodily injury, as defined in s. 316.1933, or
    8  death to the minor, or if the minor causes or contributes to
    9  causing serious bodily injury or death to another as a result of
   10  the minor’s consumption of alcohol or drugs at the open house
   11  party, the violation is a misdemeanor of the first degree,
   12  punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

   15  And the title is amended as follows:

   17         Delete line 9
   18  and insert:
   19  
   20         bodily injury or death to the minor, or causes or

   24         party; providing criminal penalties;
