       The Committee on Health Regulation (Sobel) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 481 - 483
    4  and insert:
    5         (c) A physician, an advanced registered nurse practitioner,
    6  or a physician assistant must perform an appropriate medical a
    7  physical examination of a patient on the same day that the
    8  physician he or she dispenses or prescribes a controlled
    9  substance to a patient at a pain-management clinic.

   12         And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete line 42
   14  and insert:
   15         F.S.; requiring a physician, an advanced registered
   16         nurse practitioner, or a physician assistant to

   19         or prescribes a controlled substance to a patient at a
   20         pain-management clinic; requiring a physician who
