       Senator Storms moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 233 and 234
    4  insert:
    5         Section 7. The five highest paid employees of a
    6  nongovernmental organization or other similar not-for-profit
    7  organization may not receive salaries, whether base pay or
    8  combined with bonus or incentive payments, in excess of the
    9  salary paid to the highest paid elected official of the State of
   10  Florida, if the nongovernmental organization or similar not-for
   11  profit organization receives two-thirds or more of its budget
   12  from state-appropriated funds, including state-appropriated
   13  federal funds, unless the nongovernmental organization or
   14  similar not-for-profit organization receives approval from the
   15  Legislative Budget Commission.

   18         And the title is amended as follows:
   19         Delete line 9
   20  and insert:
   21         voluntary basis; providing limitations on the salaries
   22         of employees of certain nongovernmental organizations
   23         or other similar not-for-profit organizations that
   24         receive state-appropriated funds; providing an
   25         exception if approved by the Legislative Budget
   26         Commission; providing an effective date.
