House Comm: RCS . 03/16/2011 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Gaetz) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 27 - 40 4 and insert: 5 employment services through a supported employment service 6 provider; and 7 (b) The employer does not have actual notice of the actions 8 of the employee which created unsafe conditions in the 9 workplace. 10 (2) A supported employment service provider that provides 11 or has provided supported employment services to a person with a 12 developmental disability is not liable for the actions or 13 conduct of the person which occur within the scope of the 14 person's employment. 15 (3) As used in this section, the term: 16 (a) “Developmental disability” has the same meaning as 17 provided in s. 393.063. 18 (b) "Supported employment service provider" means a not 19 for-profit public or private organization or agency that 20 provides services for persons in supported employment, as 21 defined in s. 393.063. 22 Section 2.
