       The Committee on Judiciary (Flores) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 34
    4  and insert:
    5  or processes for the purpose of addressing wage theft. Any
    6  county that enacted an ordinance governing wage theft prior to
    7  July 1, 2011, is not preempted by this section.

   11         And the title is amended as follows:
   12         Delete line 8
   13  and insert:
   14         activities to the state; providing an exception to the
   15         wage theft preemption for certain counties that have
