Subsection (2) of section 316.655, Florida 6 Statutes, is amended to read: 7 316.655 Penalties.— 8 (2) Drivers convicted of a violation of any offense 9 prohibited by this chapter or any other law of this state 10 regulating motor vehicles, which resulted in an accident, may 11 have their driving privileges revoked or suspended by the court 12 if the court finds such revocation or suspension warranted by 13 the totality of the circumstances resulting in the conviction 14 and the need to provide for the maximum safety for all persons 15 who travel on or who are otherwise affected by the use of the 16 highways of the state. In determining whether suspension or 17 revocation is appropriate, the court shall consider all 18 pertinent factors, including, but not limited to, such factors 19 as the extent and nature of the driver’s violation of this 20 chapter, the number of persons killed or injured as the result 21 of the driver’s violation of this chapter, and the extent of any 22 property damage resulting from the driver’s violation of this 23 chapter. 24 25 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 26 And the title is amended as follows: 27 Delete line 51 28 and insert: 29 information and provide reports; amending s. 316.655, 30 F.S.; providing that drivers convicted of a violation 31 of certain offenses relating to motor vehicles which 32 resulted in an accident may have their driving 33 privileges revoked or suspended; amending s. 318.14,
