       Senator Gibson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 184 - 194
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) A parent who has a currently enrolled student may have
    6  one vote counted with respect to his or her signature on the
    7  petition. An eligible student is a student enrolled in the
    8  school in which the school turnaround option will be
    9  implemented.
   10         1. A parental vote is the signature of one parent unless
   11  the other parent objects in writing to the petition vote, in
   12  which case the parental vote counts for one-half per eligible
   13  household. The objection must be made before the date the
   14  petition
