       Senator Bogdanoff moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 287 and 288
    4  insert:
    5         Section 5. (1) It is unlawful for any person to
    6  artificially dye or color any rabbit or fowl, including, but not
    7  limited to, rabbits, baby chickens, and ducklings, or to bring
    8  any dyed or colored rabbit or fowl into this state.
    9         (2) It is unlawful for any person to sell, offer for sale,
   10  or give away as merchandising premiums, baby chickens,
   11  ducklings, or other fowl under 4 weeks of age or rabbits under 2
   12  months of age to be used as pets, toys, or retail premiums.
   13         (3) This section does not apply to any animal or fowl,
   14  including, but not limited to, rabbits, baby chickens, and
   15  ducklings to be used or raised for agricultural purposes by
   16  persons who have proper facilities to care for them or for
   17  poultry or livestock exhibitions. This section also does not
   18  apply to dogs or cats.
   19         (4) Any person who violates this section, upon conviction,
   20  is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as
   21  provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083, Florida Statutes.

   25         Between lines 26 and 27
   26  insert:
   27         prohibiting a person from artificially dying or
   28         coloring any rabbit or fowl or bringing a dyed or
   29         colored rabbit or fowl into this state; prohibiting a
   30         person from selling, offering for sale, or giving away
   31         baby chickens, ducklings, or other fowl under a
   32         specified age to be used as pets, toys, or retail
   33         premiums; providing applicability; providing
   34         penalties;
