       Senators Smith, Braynon, Bullard, Gibson, Joyner, and Siplin
       moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 28 and 29
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section
    6  101.657, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         101.657 Early voting.—
    8         (1)
    9         (d) Early voting shall begin on the 10th day before an
   10  election that contains state or federal races and end on the 3rd
   11  day before the election, and shall be provided for no less than
   12  6 hours and no more than 12 hours per day at each site during
   13  the applicable period. The supervisor of elections may provide
   14  early voting for elections that are not held in conjunction with
   15  a state or federal election. However, the supervisor has the
   16  discretion to determine the hours of operation of early voting
   17  sites in those elections. In addition, each supervisor of
   18  elections may allow early voting on the Sunday before the day of
   19  a primary or general election. If early voting on Sunday is
   20  conducted, it shall be provided for no less than 6 hours and no
   21  more than 12 hours at each site.
