       Senator Negron moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Between lines 39 and 40
    4  insert:
    5         (d) If the elector produces a valid picture identification
    6  card, the elector may refuse to allow or decline a request from
    7  a clerk or inspector to swipe the picture identification card
    8  through an electronic voter identification system or to access
    9  by any means the information encoded on the card. If the elector
   10  communicates such a refusal or declination, the clerk or
   11  inspector must honor the elector’s choice and not swipe the
   12  picture identification card through an electronic voter
   13  identification system or access by any means the information
   14  encoded on the card.
