       The Committee on Budget (Joyner) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (519440) 
    2  
    3         Delete line 139
    4  and insert:
    5  that school. In addition, a parent eligible to sign a turnaround
    6  petition is a parent who can document that he or she has
    7  participated in any parent-teacher organization or other parent
    8  group affiliated with any authorized school organization,
    9  classroom, or extracurricular activity in the school.
