       Senator Sobel moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Between lines 148 and 149
    4  insert:
    5         (27) SCHOOL TURNAROUND OPTION.—The provisions of s.
    6  1003.07, the Parent Empowerment Act, apply to all charter
    7  schools in this state. The model petition form adopted by rule
    8  of the State Board of Education shall be used for purposes of
    9  any school turnaround option selected by the parents of the
   10  students of a charter school as provided in this subsection, and
   11  signed petitions shall be submitted to the governing board of
   12  the charter school for verification within the timeframes
   13  provided in s. 1003.07.

   18  and insert:
   19  1002.33, Florida Statutes, is amended, present subsection (27)

   21  subsection (27) is added to that section, to read:
