       Senator Detert moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 418 and 419
    4  insert:
    5         Section 8. A charter school that occupies the property of a
    6  public school must pay for an appraisal of the public school
    7  property to compute the local commercial per square foot rental
    8  rate for the public school property. The charter school shall
    9  pay the per square foot amount as monthly rent to the local
   10  school board to reduce the bonds that are owed.

   13         And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete line 51
   15  and insert:
   16         performance evaluations; requiring a charter school
   17         that occupies the property of a public school to pay
   18         for an appraisal of the property to compute the local
   19         commercial per square foot rental rate applicable to
   20         structures such as the public school property;
   21         requiring the charter school to pay the per square
   22         foot amount as monthly rent to the local school board
   23         to reduce the bonds that are owed by the school
   24         district; repealing s. 1012.42, F.S.,
