       Senator Gibson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 184 - 194
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) Parents of a currently enrolled student may have one
    6  vote counted with respect to parent signatures on the petition.
    7  An eligible student is a student enrolled in the school in which
    8  the school turnaround option will be implemented.
    9         1. A parental vote is the signature of one parent unless
   10  the other parent objects in writing to the petition vote, in
   11  which case the parental vote counts for one-half of the eligible
   12  household’s vote. The objection must be made before the date the
   13  petition
