       Senator Detert moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 239 and 240
    4  insert:
    5         (c) The parents of students who are attending a charter
    6  school that receives a grade of “F” may submit a petition to the
    7  district school board requiring the charter school to return any
    8  public funds it receives for that school year to the taxpayers
    9  of the school district from which such funds came and may
   10  transfer their child back to the public school. Such petition
   11  shall be validated as provided in subsection (3).
