       Senator Lynn moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 260 - 276
    4  and insert:
    5  another person from doing so, shall be subject to fines of
    6  $25,000 for each such failure.
    7         (a) A Florida College System institution subject to a fine
    8  shall be assessed by the State Board of Education.
    9         (b) A state university subject to a fine shall be assessed
   10  by the Board of Governors.
   11         (c) A nonpublic college, university, or school subject to a
   12  fine shall be assessed by the Commission for Independent
   13  Education.
   14         (4) Any Florida College System institution, state
   15  university, or nonpublic college, university, or school, as
   16  defined in s. 1000.21 or s. 1005.02, whose law enforcement
   17  agency fails to report known or suspected child abuse,
   18  abandonment, or neglect committed on the property of the
   19  university, college, or school, or during an event or function
   20  sponsored by the university, college, or school, shall be
   21  subject to fines of $25,000 for each such failure, assessed
