Medical benefits do not include acupuncture as defined 7 in s. 457.102. Medical benefits do not include massage as 8 defined in s. 480.033 unless prescribed by a physician in a 9 prescription that includes the diagnosis, the frequency of 10 treatment, the modalities of treatment, and a statement of 11 medical necessity for the massage and any modalities. Massage 12 therapy is covered only if it is a component of a medically 13 necessary treatment plan, and is not covered in the absence of 14 treatment or other therapeutic modalities performed by the 15 prescribing physician. 16 17 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 18 And the title is amended as follows: 19 Delete lines 923 - 925 20 and insert: 21 excluding acupuncture from medical benefits that may 22 be reimbursed under the motor vehicle no-fault law; 23 specifying the conditions under which massage may be 24 reimbursed; requiring that an insurer repay
