       The Committee on Budget (Margolis) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1162 and 1163
    4  insert:
    5         Section 16. Subsection (5) of section 316.2068, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         316.2068 Electric personal assistive mobility devices;
    8  regulations.—
    9         (5) A county or municipality may regulate prohibit the
   10  operation of electric personal assistive mobility devices on any
   11  road, street, sidewalk, or bicycle path under its jurisdiction
   12  if the governing body of the county or municipality determines
   13  that regulation such a prohibition is necessary in the interest
   14  of safety.

   17         And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete line 88
   19  and insert:
   20         toll; amending s. 316.2068, F.S.; authorizing a county
   21         or municipality to regulate the operation of electric
   22         personal assistive mobility devices on any road,
   23         street, sidewalk, or bicycle path under its
   24         jurisdiction if the governing body of the county or
   25         municipality determines that such a prohibition is
   26         necessary in the interest of safety; amending s.
   27         316.2122, F.S.; deleting a cross-
