       The Committee on Budget (Bogdanoff) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1067 and 1068
    4  insert:
    5         Section 14. Paragraph (x) is added to subsection (1) of
    6  section 316.008, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         316.008 Powers of local authorities.—
    8         (1) The provisions of this chapter shall not be deemed to
    9  prevent local authorities, with respect to streets and highways
   10  under their jurisdiction and within the reasonable exercise of
   11  the police power, from:
   12         (x) Closing or limiting access to a street.

   15         And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 75
   17  and insert:
   18         the payment of tolls; amending s. 316.008, F.S.;
   19         authorizing a local authority to close or limit access
   20         to a street; amending s. 316.091, F.S.;
