       The Committee on Budget Subcommittee on Health and Human
       Services Appropriations (Negron) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 2677 and 2678
    4  insert:
    5         Section 62. Section 624.49, Florida Statutes, is created to
    6  read:
    7         624.49Prohibition on contracts.—Notwithstanding any other
    8  provision of law, a managed care entity, insurance carrier,
    9  self-insured entity, third-party administrator, or an agent
   10  thereof, governed by state law, may not impose a contracted
   11  reimbursement rate on a medical provider for goods or services
   12  unless the carrier directly contracts with the provider for that
   13  rate.

   17         Delete line 246
   18  and insert:
   19         prescription drug inventories; creating s. 624.49,
   20         F.S.; prohibiting a managed care entity, insurance
   21         carrier, self-insured entity, third-party
   22         administrator, or their agent from imposing a
   23         contracted reimbursement rate on a medical provider
   24         for goods or services unless the carrier directly
   25         contracts with the provider for that rate; amending
