       Senator Fasano moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. The Office of Economic and Demographic Research
    6  within the Legislature shall conduct a thorough and complete
    7  financial impact analysis of the costs and benefits of
    8  privatizing and closing prisons in this state.
    9         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2012.

   12         And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete everything before the enacting clause
   14  and insert:
   15                        A bill to be entitled                      
   16         An act relating to the privatization and closing of
   17         prisons; requiring that the Office of Economic and
   18         Demographic Research within the Legislature conduct a
   19         thorough and complete financial impact analysis of the
   20         costs and benefits of privatizing and closing prisons
   21         in this state; providing an effective date.
