       Senator Altman moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete line 352
    4  and insert:
    5  as a result of a request for proposals.
    6         (a) The pay and benefits a person earns as an employee of a
    7  private correctional facility must be commensurate to the pay
    8  and benefits of a state correctional employee.
    9         (b) The Department of

   12         And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete line 94
   14  and insert:
   15         continued employment; requiring that the pay and
   16         benefits a person earns as an employee of a private
   17         correctional facility be commensurate to the pay and
   18         benefits of a state correctional employee; requiring
   19         that the Department of
