| 10 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 11 |
|
| 12 | Section 1. Subsections (3) through (7) of section |
| 13 | 110.12315, Florida Statutes, are renumbered as subsections (4) |
| 14 | through (8), respectively, and a new subsection (3) is added to |
| 15 | that section to read: |
| 16 | 110.12315 Prescription drug program.-The state employees' |
| 17 | prescription drug program is established. This program shall be |
| 18 | administered by the Department of Management Services, according |
| 19 | to the terms and conditions of the plan as established by the |
| 20 | relevant provisions of the annual General Appropriations Act and |
| 21 | implementing legislation, subject to the following conditions: |
| 22 | (3) The Department of Management Services shall authorize |
| 23 | any retail pharmacy licensed in this state and participating in |
| 24 | the program to dispense a 90-day maintenance prescription |
| 25 | medication to a program member, subscriber, or covered dependent |
| 26 | with a chronic disease, including, but not limited to, heart |
| 27 | disease, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, end-stage renal disease, or cancer. |
| 28 | The dispensing fee for a 90-day supply shall be 1.5 times the |
| 29 | amount paid for a 30-day supply. |
| 30 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2012. |
