       Senator Bogdanoff moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 55 and 56
    4  insert:
    5         Section 5. A land use amendment to a comprehensive master
    6  plan shall be adopted by a simple majority vote. A local
    7  government may not require a super majority vote in order to
    8  amend a comprehensive master plan.

   11         And the title is amended as follows:
   12         Delete line 7
   13  and insert:
   14         made by the act; requiring that a land use amendment
   15         to a comprehensive master plan be adopted by a simple
   16         majority vote; prohibiting a local government from
   17         requiring a super majority vote to amend a
   18         comprehensive master plan; providing an effective
   19         date.
