       Senator Bogdanoff moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 55 and 56
    4  insert:
    5         Section 5. A local government may not adopt or impose any
    6  supermajority voting requirement, by charter provision,
    7  ordinance, or otherwise, for the transmittal or adoption of
    8  amendments to the comprehensive plan.

   12         And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete line 7
   14  and insert:
   15         made by the act; prohibiting a local government from
   16  adopting or imposing any supermajority voting requirement for
   17  the transmittal or adoption of amendments to the comprehensive
   18  plan; providing an effective date.
