       Senator Flores moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 69 - 79
    4  and insert:
    5  sustained.
    6         Section 3. The amount paid by Miami-Dade County pursuant to
    7  s. 768.28, Florida Statutes, and the amount awarded under this
    8  act are intended to provide the sole compensation for all
    9  present and future claims arising out of the factual situation
   10  described in this act which resulted in injuries to James D.
   11  Feurtado, III. The total amount paid for attorney fees, lobbying
   12  fees, costs, and similar expenses relating to this claim may not
   13  exceed 15 percent of the first $1 million awarded under this act
   14  and 10 percent of the remainder awarded under this act, for a
   15  total of $165,000.
