On Page: 314             Technical amendment to clarify that hire-back 
                         services in the Department of Highway Safety and 
Spec App: 2647           Motor Vehicles is overtime administered by the 
                         state, rather than off-duty employment.

DELETE the proviso immediately following Specific Appropriation 2647:

From  the  funds  in Specific Appropriation 2647, $8,746,675 is provided
for the Florida Highway Patrol Hireback Services for off-duty employment
administered  by the State. It is the intent of the legislature that the
department  make  a  reasonable  effort  to equalize the distribution of
overtime within the Law Enforcement Officer Class.

AND INSERT:

From  the  funds  in Specific Appropriation 2647, $8,746,675 is provided
for Florida Highway Patrol Hireback Services for overtime employment
administered  by the State. It is the intent of the legislature that the
department  make  a  reasonable  effort  to equalize the distribution of
overtime within the Law Enforcement Officer Class.
