Notwithstanding the repeal of chapter 205, 6 Florida Statutes, by this act, counties or municipalities 7 imposing a local business tax as of March 9, 2012, pursuant to 8 chapter 205, Florida Statutes, may continue to levy such tax to 9 the extent necessary to meet all obligations to, or for the 10 benefit of, holders of bonds or certificates that were issued 11 before March 9, 2012, and for which taxes levied pursuant to 12 chapter 205, Florida Statute, are explicitly pledged as 13 security. Expenditures of revenues from tax levies continued 14 pursuant to this section are limited to meeting obligations 15 required by bonds or certificates that were issued before March 16 9, 2012.
