       Senator Hays moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1107 and 1108
    4  insert:
    5         Section 37. (1) The Office of Program Policy Analysis and
    6  Government Accountability (OPPAGA) shall conduct a study on the
    7  regulation and operation of limited-service veterinary medical
    8  practices. The study may include, but need not be limited to,
    9  industry best practices and recommended statutory changes.
   10         (2)The Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government
   11  Accountability shall submit the results of its study along with
   12  recommendations to the Governor, the President of the Senate,
   13  and the Speaker of the House of Representatives by December 1,
   14  2012.

   18         Delete line 146
   19  and insert:
   20         controlled substances; directing the Office of Program
   21         Policy Analysis and Government Accountability to
   22         conduct a study of the operation and regulation of
   23         limited-service veterinary medical practices;
   24         providing an effective date.
