       Senator Bogdanoff moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 83 and 84
    4  insert:
    5         (j) Ordering or requiring a person incorporated or having
    6  its principal place of business in this state to act as a
    7  collection agent to collect monetary payments from another
    8  person, whether or not such person is a resident of this state,
    9  unless the parties have otherwise agreed by contract. The courts
   10  of this state shall limit the application of, refuse to enforce,
   11  or enjoin any such requirements that are inequitable,
   12  impracticable, or impossible.

   15         And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 11
   17  and insert:
   18         courts of this state; including as an additional basis
   19         for subjecting a person to the jurisdiction of the
   20         courts of this state, a provision which states that a
   21         person submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of
   22         this state by ordering or requiring a person
   23         incorporated or having its principal place of business
   24         in this state to act as a collection agent under
   25         certain circumstances; amending s. 55.502, F.S.;
