       Senator Bennett moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 119 - 124
    4  and insert:
    5         (6) Any local act, law, ordinance, or regulation,
    6  including, but not limited to, a local building code or building
    7  permit requirement, of a county, municipality, or other
    8  political subdivision which pertains to hoisting equipment,
    9  including power-operated cranes, derricks, hoists, elevators,
   10  and conveyors used in construction, demolition, or excavation
   11  work, and which is not already preempted by the Occupational
   12  Safety and Health Administration under 29 C.F.R. parts 1910 and
   13  1926, including, but not limited to, local worksite regulation
   14  regarding hurricane preparedness or public safety, is prohibited
   15  and is preempted to the state.
