The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Stargel) recommended the
following:

4 and insert:

8 additional information the department is allowed by law to

12 has notified the applicant within the 15 10-working-day period.
13 The department must approve or deny each statement, or must
14 notify the applicant that the activity for which she or he seeks
15 registration is exempt from the registration requirement, within
16 15 10 working days after receipt of the initial registration or
17 annual renewal statement or the requested additional information
