Floor: WD/2R . 05/02/2013 03:23 PM . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Senator Bullard moved the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 49 - 64 4 and insert: 5 age who have documentation by an examining physician which 6 includes information regarding at least one fetal characteristic 7 or condition diagnosed intra-utero which would characterize the 8 pregnancy or delivery as high risk, including structural 9 abnormalities of the digestive, central nervous, and 10 cardiovascular systems; disorders of genetic malformations and 11 skeletal dysplasia; and acute metabolic emergencies. 12 Documentation of babies who are born of mothers who have 13 rheumatologic disorders would also be included. This paragraph 14 shall not preclude a specialty-licensed children’s hospital from 15 complying with s. 395.1041 or the Emergency Medical Treatment 16 and Active Labor Act, 42 U.S.C. s. 1395dd.
